Hey ...this is my first entry so i thoguht i'd introduce myself. My name is Sheila and i'm 17 years old. I live in Thornton Heath, London, England.

My life's passion is art and i love to draw...particularly sketching and I find that if i'm going through anything that affects me i put it all into my art.

Strangley enough though my other lifes ambition is to be a surgeon and i'm currently working towards that goal. I love the idea of being the person who is able to save someones life...it's a great gift to have. Obviously i would love to be a world renowned artist but how many people can you say that you know who have achieved that.

I also dabble in a bit of poetry and i'll put some on here now...now really my best work...the rhyme scheme isn't really perfected yet....abit rough aoround the edges. (quite weird actually...i'm getting slowly better)

You said the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice

How bout the darker the hearts and the eviller (?) the looks

I'm tryin to keep my head up and my dreams always near,

but its hard when i'm put down by every word i hear.

Changes can happen, and i will live once more,

But 4 now i'll try 2 keep my fears behind closed doors.

That door will one day grow, leading into a mansion,

my words will be heard and they'll be  full of passion.

His anger his sins will be his downfall,

and i will strive to survive and live thru it all.

I'll find deeper peace and love i knew once before,

in the depths of solitude i will exist no more.

My broken wings shall heal and i will learn to fly,

I'll look down at his world, and forever say gooodbye.

Somebeody who cares, i will one day meet,

i will be that rose, and  i will grow from concrete.
